ABOUT
Leila is a contemporary abstract artist exploring the emotional landscapes that exist beyond language.
Her work begins where words become insufficient — with feelings that are layered, contradictory, unresolved or difficult to name. Informed by a deep engagement with psychology and human experience, her practice is drawn to the complexity of what exists beneath what we are able to articulate.
Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Leila approaches painting intuitively, using movement, contrast, layering and fragmentation to give physical presence to internal states. Marks collide, accumulate, disappear and interrupt one another, allowing each work to evolve somewhere between intention and surrender.
Rather than illustrating or defining emotion, she is interested in what emotion leaves behind — tension, absence, rupture, movement and trace. The resulting works are not explanations, but records of something felt: open enough to hold ambiguity and to allow the viewer to encounter something of their own within them.
Her first collection, EMOTIONS I, brings together eight distinct emotional states as individual works within one visual narrative.

COMMISSIONS
A work created for you.
A feeling made tangible.
Leila accepts a limited number of private commissions, creating original works in dialogue with the people and spaces they are intended for.
Each commission begins with a conversation — an emotion, a memory, an atmosphere, or simply something that cannot quite be put into words. From there, the work develops intuitively, allowing the original idea to become something entirely its own.
Rather than reproducing an existing piece, every commission is conceived as an individual work — carrying Leila’s visual language while belonging uniquely to its collector.
Commissions can be discussed in relation to dimensions, space and emotional direction. The final work remains an original artistic interpretation rather than a predetermined design.
